How can I install this theme?
To install themes first place your download in Homefolder, Then go into System-Preferences-Appearance. Then click install theme and then double click on your theme and then
you got your theme
to install, at least on the new ubuntu systems, you just open up the themes window under system->appearance and drag anyone of the glow archived files into the theme window
I guess it’s impossible to install this/these theme(s) on Ubuntu 11.04 or 11.10…?
Looks like the themes only have a gtk-2.0 folder, and AFAIK, Ubuntu 11 uses gtk-3.0.
Sad to see how Ubuntu 11.x killed theming and customization in general. :’(
It didn’t “kill” it, they just dropped support for old themes. They’re trying to focus on usability, i guess.
You know what they say, “do it yourself or stop complaining”.
To do:
* learn code,
* write new operating system
I should re-design the whole universe, while i’m at it.
